Types of glazingbars and transoms/mullions

For windows and patio doors in the product families Original, Extreme and Passiv there are different types of glazing bars and transom/mullions to choose from:

  • Detachable glazing bars are placed on the exterior of the windows and can be removed when cleaning. Available for windows with double and triple glazed insulation glass units.
  • Glazing bars inside the insulation glass unit. Available for windows with double and triple glazed insulation glass units.
  • Transoms/mullions can with an advantage be combined with detachable glazing bars. Made of wood for product family Original Trä. Made of aluminium for all aluminium cladded windows.
